I photographed Tiffany & Terence’s breathtaking maternity session on April 23rd at Cypress Falls Park in West Van! Her due date was May 9th so we decided to go ahead with the shoot as she really wanted photos before she gave birth! Which is a good thing we did photograph when we did as 2 days later she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Eli! 
They are such a fun couple and very active-so have no doubt that they will be the best parents ever!
I had visited this place about a year ago and remember it being simply majestic. So it was my idea to photograph there, and she loved the idea! It has a ton of tall cypress trees with moss on the top, and moss on the rocks as well, and a giant rocky turquoise waterfall surrounded by green trees and a wooden bridge! When the sun is out, it’s like heaven on earth! 
This is my favourite shot of Tiffany with a fern over her belly, in the middle of the forest. I really liked when I put my camera on the floor, and got a photo of them through the tree branch in focus- of Terence kissing her on the forehead! I got a ton of photos of them walking through the forest as well with the rocky stones framing the photo perfectly!
Also did a few photos of the couple sitting on the giant tree stump- and a bunch of photos too of Tiffany’s belly. Including a cropped one of her belly with her hand over it, with the green moss and trees everywhere. Also went close to the falls as well and did a ton of photos there. One the one’s I loved the most, is of Tiffanys upper body in the frame including her belly, and then the water rapids flowing above her head- which I really like the framing there! I really love that there is a giant tree root as well!
There was a bunch of bridges there that make for great couple shots with the rapids flowing below with the lush green trees everywhere. One of my favourite settings was the bridge that had the waterfalls flowing in the background of the photo and the sun was filtering through the trees. One of my all time photos I love is the last setup! I had asked ahead of time if she was ok with laying down on a tree stump to get some unique photos of her belly! With the sun shinning on her hands and face it looks even more like heaven on earth! I asked her to put her hand on her belly and she definitely did look beaming, so naturally! You can see all the lush greenery of the forest surrounding her.
